Traditionally, neon signs have been the most common way to bend logos and messages. But in recent years, LED signs have also become an increasingly popular one due to a number of obvious advantages. 

What are LED lights?

LED signs are created from light-emitting diodes that are tightly interconnected. The light they emit overlaps and creates a stable light source.

LED signs are less fragile

The pipes in LED signs are generally more robust as the LED light is wrapped in polymer tubes to protect the diodes from damage. In neon signs, glass tubes are used which are more fragile. 

Lower energy consumption 

Large neon signs often require up to 15000 volts. By comparison, large LED signs require only 24 volts. Therefore, there is an economic saving and environmental benefit in choosing an LED sign. Especially in the case of larger signs. In round numbers, an LED sign uses about 80% less power than a neon sign.
